Over 4 texts just in one day! All following the same format. “I found you’re (lost dogs), need to know your not a scammer, send me the code”
SO FRUSTRATING! Obviously, they put my number into some APP, (WHATSAPP?), and they expect me TO GIVE THEM THE CODE, even tho it clearly says don’t share the code with anyone!
Definitely Scammer, it is so frustrating! I wish the government or organization would come up with a random code generating tracking feature we could type in to give them and it would “pretend” to be an accurate code, but linking them to authorities and making a way for this to not only be stopped, but us to go after them AS ITS A CRIME, to falsely represent MY number as theirs!
